Fizzology with Josephine Sondlo

Mix this summer’s best cocktails with Aarke and award-winning bartender Josephine Sondlo – using carbonated water. At her new bar Afterglow at Erstagatan in Stockholm Josephine demonstrates how to take your home bar game to the next level.

The recipes can be made either as cocktails or mocktails, with substitutes included in the description.

Yuzu Vain

Ingredients:

  • 30 ml homemade yuzu basil syrup
  • 30 ml Milky oolong tea (or gin)
  • 15 ml Lime juice
  • 20 ml Sparkling water
  • 3 Basil leaves

Instructions:

  1. Dissolve 50/50 ration of sugar in yuzu juice and water and blend it with a bunch of basil leaves on high in a blender, strain.
  2. Add this yuzu basil syrup, tea (or gin) and lime juice into a shaker with ice and shake well.
  3. Strain and top with sparkling water.
  4. Garnish with basil leaves.
